The sunlight has changed
Cold hibernation over
Stretch our eyes again
April is the time
my time of fresh energy
beaches in pink bloom
1.4.24
Not all places free
to roam and romp along cliffs
2.4.24
So far down the waves
hit rocks as seagull calls screech
hovering below
3.4.24
How I love this swear
such British word 'tosser' be,
now public language?
4.4.24
In rock pools clear and
shallow streams we wade across
in barefoot, cooling
5.4.24
And I am here now
for a brief moment in time
I make my mark seen
6.4.24
On the island high
I watch Chesil stretch below
a bridge to the land
7.4.24
Thanks so much for sticking with me and all of your comments and inspirational haiku and poems, I really enjoy having you here.
You may enjoy the photos and poetry on this post, make a cuppa and sit down for a listen to some poems about April.
Our great ambition-

Can't come soon enough!
A solar eclipse
Cannot block out the poems
