Welcome to a bit of fun today. 10 pictures, some very easy, one or two a little more challenging. But all take just a second or two more than we have become used to giving our attention to our screens these days. As you know by now, I am intrigued by tiny details and I end up with an awful lot of photos like these. Sometimes, I like to lie on the floor in weird places to see things from a different perspective or I am suddenly absorbed in something ‘everyday’ because I realise I haven’t looked at it properly for a while.
1.
Liquid gold slow drips time forms puddles of riches feast your greedy eyes
2.
Melted paint splatter frozen in space until dropped, only shards then left
3.
Crystal sapphire gems together mix and cascade slowly, cold sliding
4.
Deep chocolate squelch I step gracefully over but 'short legs' does not
5.
Smooth silk, colour rich, draped for display to admire. Pebbles dance beneath
6.
On another day we pass you by unobserved. Today you sparkle
7.
Our senses cannot imagine, talent seeking honed ability
8.
Parcelled life waiting, in gossamer silky thread, huddled together
9.
Changing the angle Lie where you would not dare so the whole world changes
10.
Eons is more time than my brain can imagine. Shutter clicks instant.
Thank you for being here. Yes, I understand you want pretty landscapes, but to be fair, you can’t always have what you want ha ha ha. If aything inspires you, I’d love to hear it.

~~~
to the face, a face
awash that drips rock-face stone
from-to clockless time
~~~
into a colour
splashed with a hot moment’s
touchable magma.
~~~
icy roads are seen
to be where the blue leaked out
and down to now here,
~~~
the foot’s interface
indented, indelible
and impermanent.
~~~
imagination!
the sea-side big smell not seen
of death birthing life
~~~
where the sacred hoar’s
white frost frosts the grassy shore
in crystalline breath;
~~~
and where shadows know
where their noses fear to tread
sniffing out lost dread
~~~
where passers by-pass
the silk of wormy cocoons
as preconditions
~~~
to wire threads that droop
with the weight of so many words
spoken yet unheard,
~~~
that remain, perhaps,
as remnants without a voice
in this muted frame.
