Tis the 1st of May. I shall take you on a walk through some bluebell woods. What a joy.
Storm clouds gathering in April's dark moody skies May is nearly here
One path may be blocked yet another forms, leading to deeper green copse
A shaft of sunlight the tinkle of little bells on a brisk spring breeze
Tis time of greening smells of winter's decaying now overridden
We are surrounded, dazzled, bathing in beauty. A white feather drifts
Only bird song falls in the depths of mossy wood our ears are rested
We are cleansed by bells, a hare, a mistle thrush and us, walking softly
Thank you for coming along. I hope this virtual forest bathing refreshed you for the day ahead. I look forward to hearing from you in comments.

Bluebells sway in breeze,
May's gentle footsteps whisper,
Woodland dreams awake.
How serene are the woods!
And I love the first picture. There is something about the storms that I can’t express. I love how the sky changes colours and gets grey and dark as the storm approaches. I love how the wind blows, carrying the dust. I love how the trees sway, and the leaves rustle. The whole world suddenly feels more alive. People call me crazy for liking such weather. But I find quietude in storms. When everything around you is turbulent, you find peace in yourself.
