Such beautiful architecture. I’d love to walk around those places and see them in real life. But for now, your photos and haikus do a damn good job :)

Excellent! Thanks Michael. So glad you enjoyed these photos. My fictional brain goes into overdrive as I hear stories from the past.

Stunning chapels and cathedrals, especially the stained glass work,

all topped off with your haiku, crafted as well as those Gothic masterpieces featured in the photos!

Thank you David. I am fascinated by the strange dichotomy of enormous creative talent that religion clearly inspires and the brutal facts of the stories themselves. Visiting places opens up my mind to imagining personal stories of how we got to these current times. It's a fun exploration for me! I'm delighted to share it with someone else who is interested. Thank you for coming along with me David. ❤️

Ooo Michael, good call. I hadn't considered that the buildings might be on my side to engineer this mysterious circumstance. Ha ha, I am amazed that I seem to have a bubble around me that allows me to have these incredible places to myself 😂

Maybe you earned the love of the big places by the way you respected and cherished all the little children and the old grandparents alike!

You know, it's funny that you should say this but I actually do! Ha ha. I was in a peaceful garden the other day and a young toddler was having a temper tantrum and I so related to his frustration that I got out my notebook and wrote a couple of verses inspired by his vocal fury. 😂
